Les intentions du club
Nos souhaits les plus chers sont qu’en encourageant la bienveillance des jeunes de notre
école par des gestes d’altruisme simples et réalisables, ceux-ci sentiront que leurs
efforts sont importants et devraient être multipliés tout au long de leur vie.
Nous voulons continuer de bâtir le sens de la communauté et de la bienveillance auprès
de nos jeunes afin qu’ils grandissent dans cet environnement sain et altruiste. En effet, ces gestes posés à l’école ont déjà eu un impact dans notre communauté. Certains de nos jeunes multiplient leurs efforts au-delà du club par des ventes de pâtisseries ou des concerts de musique. Une de nos anciennes élèves d'ailleurs a entrepris de faire sa part dans notre communauté en créant son propre organisme de charité Gnome for a Home (https://www.awesomefoundation.org/en/projects/114678-gnome-for-a-home) Ces jeunes ont ainsi appris à apporter du bien-être et du réconfort à des organismes à but non-lucratif de leur choix.
Nous soulignons aussi, grâce à la diversité de ces adorables poupées, que l’acceptation de tous et chacun dans nos différences est primordiale. Nos jeunes membres créent des ‘Ami(e)s’ de toutes ethnicités et de toutes tendances sans préjugé et surtout sans discrimination! Ils sont déjà conscients que nous vivons dans un monde où LA DIVERSITÉ ENRICHIT NOS VIES.
Our greatest wish is that by encouraging the values of voluntarism in our own students through simple and achievable altruistic acts, they can realize the importance of their efforts to relay to others throughout their lives. Through our community efforts, our aim is to continue creating awareness for our young people by placing value on healthy living through simple acts of kindness. Indeed their efforts have already made an impact in our school community and beyond. For example, some of our students have already extended their efforts through the sales of sweets and pastries or by participating in music concerts as a way of extending comfort and care to non-profit organizations of their choice. One of our former students from has undertaken to do her part in our community by creating her own charity Gnome for a Home (https://www.awesomefoundation.org/en/projects/114678-gnome-for-a -home) These young people have learned to bring well-being and comfort to non-profit organizations of their choice.
The diverse nature of these ‘Buddies’ further emphasizes how each and every one of us are capable of reaching out in acceptance of others and that our differences in this world are essential for a better tomorrow. Our young members thus create 'Buddies' that reach out to represent all ethnicities and tendencies without prejudice and without discrimination.
Through the gestures, our students have thus become aware of how blessed we are to live in a world
where DIVERSITY is indeed a TREASURE!
